I had been looking online and doing research for wigs on and off for a year now or more. Nothing came out of it. Then, one of my friends told me about Gabi’s; she knew a friend who went there.

So a week ago, I called and left a message. Mary called me back shortly and booked an appointment for me. I went yesterday, Wednesday October 13th for my 2pm appointment. It was easy to get to by bus even with construction going on.

I arrived a little early; Mary greeted me and when I sat down she asked me about my hair issue. She brought out a topper and it fit me to a “T”. There was a transformation with the topper. I did not expect to just try one topper. Mary was good.

I did not expect to buy the topper on the same day, however since the store hours were limited and I was only able to go
as I was on vacation, I bought it. I felt confident enough about the product and service I got.

Judy styled the topper and put it on me to further style it. I also asked for tips on how to care for it.

It was overall a very good experience and quite painless. The price was much higher than usual wigs, however, the quality was very good as it was human hair and European made.

I found out later that they have two locations - one in North York and the other in Mississauga; the other two locations are in New York and L.A.

I would highly recommend anyone with hair issues to visit this boutique to try our the toppers and wigs. I don’t think you would be disappointed.

Judy even went a bit beyond the closing time to assist me. Kudos to staff. Hopefully if I go again one day, I can meet the owner.

Beautiful selection and kind, friendly staff. They allowed me to come in on short notice when I needed to buy a wig in a rush. I had a lot of questions as it was my first time there, and they were very patient with me. My purchase was more expensive than I'm used to for a human hair wig, but it has held up beautifully for years and I get a lot of compliments on how "healthy" my hair looks. They definitely use high-quality European hair, so you get what you pay for!

I can not say enought about Maria's excellent customer service at Gabi's. She is very pleasant, helpful and a great communicator. She is well aware of important of customer's satisfaction in reputation of a business. Overall, my experience in dealing with her was great.

I have Alopecia that has progressively gotten worse over the last couple of years and I now require a wig. I have purchased a wig at a different salon which was nice but I still felt extremely uncomfortable wearing it in public. I had searched for wig places in the area and found Gabi's Wigs. It took me months to get the courage to go in as I have been extremely uncomfortable with myself but I am so glad that I went. Everyone at Gabi's was extremely welcoming and took the time to find the best wig for me. Never once did I feel uncomfortable. Love this place so much, I have no words for it. I went there today for style. My purple hair was straight and needed a different style and have decided to make it curlier for a change, I left that place feeling like a million dollar. Judy has done a great job! I got a lot of comments. As the holiday is approaching and you want to do a face lift for your hair or give yourself a gift and throw some great color for your hair, Vida will do it to a tee. I am so grateful I have found Gaby’s!!

As I suffer with Alopecia I was looking for a genuine place to buy a human hair wig, I can honestly say, there is no other place like Gabi’s. I have ordered wigs online before not even close. My husband and I drove from Oakville just to see the place and to find out how much , we were greeted by Mary , she has showed me a couple of them but I fall in love with one.
I have showed them the color I wanted on the wig , OMG! Vida did a great job! it was to the T and then after Judy did the cut and style the way I like it. I will go back again in spring to get another one with another style. I can’t wait! The quality of the wig worth every penny. Amazing place and Amazing people, they are just simply the best.

This was my first visit. The associates were welcoming and helpful. Gaby herself went an extra mile to explain to me more details of wearing toppers vs wigs and how those apply to my situation. I am definitely coming back again.

I feel cold on my head and wear a touq with a bandana most of the time. When I have to dress up I sport different wigs as the occasion demands - the Afro, and the Indian are my staples. I went to Gabi's to inquire about their Medical and Fashion wigs after browsing through their website. Eventhough I arrived an hour before my appointment with their stylist, they received me with a smile, warmth and courtesy. They took time to show me the products I was interested in and explained to me what my best option is. I like that very much. I am impressed. Their pricing is competitive and affordable for children, women and men. I recommend them highly to anyone.

I've been to many wig shoppes but none as great as Gabi's! Gabi is welcoming, knowledgable and will transform your look. She cares about nothing more than finding the most natural looking wigs for her customers and styling them in a way that works for each and every one of her clients. Her wigs are beautiful and a fair price for what they are. Her wig looked absolutely amazing on camera in FOXY (a film about alopecia).
